FAQ

  • How much is Membership?
We operate a Pay as you train policy. Membership is free and you simply pay as you train.
  • Will I get hurt?
Kickboxing is a martial art which involves punching, kicking, elbows and knees. In class there is no contact as techniques are done on pads. Our instructors are experts in their field, with decades of experience teaching martial arts - they will look after you and ensure you are safe at all times.
  • Do I have to spar or fight?
No. Many people train for fitness, to improve confidence, to meet people and some to learn to fight. Sparing is not done in classes for low level grades and techniques are done on pads. Sparring is done before each classes as an optional extra for those who want to learn to apply their techniques. For those who want to compete there are seperate classes to allow this to be done safely.
  • What do I have to wear?
Suitable, loose, gym clothing will be fine for beginners (e.g. shorts and Tshirt). Members who decide to stay can purchase our famous blue and black suit.
  • Do you only teach kickboxing?
No, we focus firstly on kickboxing but our curriculum includes Kung Fu, Sport-Karate and self defence. Our instructors have detailed knowledge and experience teaching a variety of other martial arts including judo, boxing and karate - we will integrate elements of any martial art into our training as long as it is effective.
